Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfer, and checks.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor records and master files.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and generate AP aging reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-2 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
