Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfer, or check in accordance with company policies.
- Manage the month-end close process for the AP function, including accruals and aging reports.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors regarding billing inquiries.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all financial transactions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a part-time capacity.
- Knowledge of GAAP and basic financial reporting standards.
