We are looking for a proactive individual to manage our accounts payable workflow efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage the AP general ledger and ensure timely posting of transactions.
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing issues and payment status.
- Assist in month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of all AP transactions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with AP automation tools is a plus.
