We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team in Dallas, Texas. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and supporting the overall efficiency of our accounting operations.

Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and invoice inquiries.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and prepare reports as needed.
- Perform data entry and updates within accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
