Responsibilities
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and general ledgers.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents and receipts.
- Perform general ledger account clean-up and error correction to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Assist the senior accounting team with month-end closing procedures and audit support.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, or general accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in financial data.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
