Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly to ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Perform routine bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and filing of financial documents.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by gathering necessary financial data.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel preferred).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot errors in data.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in a corporate accounting setting is a plus.
