Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
- Process accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank accounts
- Perform general ledger maintenance and journal entry reviews
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Develop financial reports for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with Texas-based teams on cross-state projects
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Tax preparation experience for multi-state entities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Familiarity with GAAP and IRS regulations
