Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, MD wage laws)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings accurately
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Support year-end processing (W-2s, 1099s) and audits
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding payroll tasks
- Maintain confidential employee payroll records
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification strongly preferred
- Expertise in federal/state tax filing and compliance
- Proficient in Excel and payroll software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion
- Experience with garnishment processing and year-end reporting
