Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of borrower financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow to determine creditworthiness.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and presentations for senior management and credit committees.
- Monitor existing loan portfolios to identify early warning signs of default and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Utilize financial software and databases to streamline reporting and data analysis processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes affecting the lending sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or commercial lending.
