Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and assist in month-end close procedures.
- Generate and review financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure tax filings are completed correctly.
- Perform general bookkeeping duties and maintain organized digital and physical files.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
