Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate internal operations to ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in compliance programs.
- Investigate potential policy violations and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risk.
- Develop, update, and distribute compliance manuals and training materials for staff.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections and examinations.
- Stay abreast of changes in gaming and financial regulations specific to the Nevada market.
- Prepare detailed reports on compliance status and risk exposure for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management within the gaming or financial sector.
- Strong working knowledge of Nevada Gaming Commission regulations and federal compliance standards.
- Professional certification (e.g., CAMS, CFE, CIA, JD) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them practically.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and training purposes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
