Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile accounts payable/receivable transactions with weekend-specific deadlines
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements for executive review
- Manage payroll processing for weekend-shift employees using ADP systems
- Conduct internal audits of financial transactions to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for real-time financial data entry and maintenance
- Collaborate with tax preparation teams for quarterly filings and year-end audits
- Support budget forecasting through weekend data analysis and trend identification
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with weekend shift exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to meet strict weekend deadlines without supervision
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and North Carolina tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with error reconciliation expertise
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) or actively pursuing designation
