We're seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to manage weekend financial operations, ensuring seamless week-end closures and accurate reporting. Responsibilities
- Prepare and process weekend payroll batches for client companies
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions over the weekend
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Handle accounts payable/receivable processing during weekend shifts
- Respond to urgent client financial inquiries via phone/email
- Maintain digital filing systems for weekend transaction records
- Support audit preparations by organizing weekend documentation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required
- 2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Weekend availability is mandatory (Saturday & Sunday)
- Basic knowledge of CA tax regulations preferred
