Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for small to medium-sized businesses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end financial audits
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting systems
- Provide financial insights to clients through variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax preparation principles
