Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for executive leadership
- Develop comprehensive financial models and forecasts supporting multi-million dollar government contracts
- Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to optimize budget allocation and cost control
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions for budget deviations
- Prepare and present financial insights to senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal accounting standards (FASAB) and contractual requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive financial analysis experience, preferably in government contracting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex modeling and pivot tables
- Experience with financial reporting systems (e.g., Deltek, Oracle Financials)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one required
