Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and perform monthly journal entries accurately.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Support the month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Maintain accurate financial records in strict compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience (part-time experience is welcome).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
