Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and corporate tax returns.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and expense reporting audits.
- Maintain and organize financial records and ledgers using QuickBooks or Xero.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal processes and financial reporting accuracy.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for budget preparation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
- Must be available to work a flexible part-time schedule (20-25 hours per week).
