Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budget reports for management review.
- Process payroll for a small team of employees, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Ensure all financial documentation is organized, secure, and easily accessible.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in a part-time capacity.
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and local financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
