Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ledgers, and general journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Support tax preparation and ensure timely filing of local and federal reports.
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation for audits.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
