The Role:
As our Part-Time Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial health of our clients. You will manage essential accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting our senior team.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage payroll processing for select clients or internal staff.
- Assist with tax preparation (1099s, W-2s) and year-end close procedures.
- Ensure all financial records are maintained in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
