Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements and general ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual tax returns.
- Process payroll for a small team of employees accurately and on time.
- Assist in the annual audit process and documentation preparation.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and local financial regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred but not required.
