Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process payroll for multiple clients with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Generate financial reports and budgets for clients as requested.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for audit readiness.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial statements.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal/state tax regulations.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
