In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with month-end close procedures. Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Maintain the general ledger system using QuickBooks or Xero.
- Prepare and file necessary tax documents and quarterly reports.
- Support the finance team with budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Organize and archive financial documentation for audits.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
