Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of our clients, ensuring that all records are precise and up-to-date.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and posted in a timely manner.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account analysis to identify variances.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and bill payment.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance reports.
- Reconcile credit card statements and assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Provide financial reporting support to management as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or corporate finance setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be currently residing in Nashville, TN.
