Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Assist in the preparation and posting of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital financial documents.
- Process payroll adjustments and expense reports as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a part-time or freelance capacity.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
