Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable individual to assist with our day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax documents as required.
- Maintain the general ledger and perform month-end closing procedures.
- Support the audit process by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Assist with payroll processing and expense reporting for staff.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and strong verbal and written communication skills.
