Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Process payroll and ensure all tax filings are up to date.
- Perform monthly and annual audits with internal and external partners.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
