Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation filings.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Support the finance team with budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting (Part-time experience is acceptable).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a remote or hybrid setting.
