Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 SMB clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 98% accuracy
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and compliance documentation
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Implement QuickBooks optimization strategies for clients
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement reviews
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and PivotTable expertise
- Texas CPA license or actively pursuing (CPA candidates encouraged)
- Proficient with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
