Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
- Maintain general ledgers and prepare adjusting entries as needed.
- Support the payroll process and assist with tax preparation and filings.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding financial inquiries and status updates.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
- Must be located in Fresno, CA or willing to commute to our office.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
