Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs aligned with FINRA, SEC, and Ohio banking regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify compliance gaps
- Train staff on regulatory changes and compliance protocols
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare regulatory reports for federal and state authorities
- Collaborate with legal and risk management teams on compliance frameworks
- Stay current on evolving financial regulations (e.g., AML, BSA, Dodd-Frank)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of compliance experience in financial services
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or equivalent certification
- Deep knowledge of banking regulations and FINRA rules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with compliance software (e.g., Wolters Kluwer, Thomson Reuters)
- Proven track record in developing compliance policies
