Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or a related field.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
