Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
- Assist with payroll processing for a small client portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Update and maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
