Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including A/P, A/R, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client portfolios
- Assist with tax preparation, compliance filings, and regulatory documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting systems and internal controls
- Collaborate with clients to provide financial insights and process improvement recommendations
- Support audits and ensure SOX compliance requirements are met
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with part-time or full-time roles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax compliance regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis tools
