Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation and credit card account audits.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll for a team of 10-15 employees accurately and on time.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial entries are accurate.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
