Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile client accounts using QuickBooks and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Process payroll for 15-20 small business clients
- Assist with tax preparation and filing for individuals and corporations
- Conduct audits of financial records to ensure compliance
- Develop and maintain organized client documentation systems
- Provide financial consulting to small business clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel
- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Strong communication and client relationship abilities
