Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and process payroll for a small team of employees.
- Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks or Xero.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience (part-time or full-time).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
