Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client review
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll transactions
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end financial audits
- Implement QuickBooks software solutions for operational efficiency
- Provide proactive financial insights to support strategic business decisions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping/tax preparation experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven ability to manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid California CPA license or active pursuit thereof
