Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations for diverse client portfolios
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Maintain organized digital financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Provide financial analysis support to business clients
- Collaborate with team on process improvements for accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Illinois tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not required
