Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for nonprofit clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Assist with grant reporting and compliance documentation
- Process payroll for 10-15 employees per client
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Support annual audit preparations and tax filing
- Implement internal controls and financial policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of nonprofit accounting experience preferred
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and MS Excel
- Active CPA license or pursuing certification
- Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
