Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with insightful commentary
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly tax preparations and year-end closings
- Maintain organized digital financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Provide proactive financial guidance to diverse industry clients
- Collaborate with senior accountants on complex financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Texas CPA license preferred but not required
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for client interactions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Familiarity with sales tax filing procedures
