Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Handle accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online systems for clients
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects and process improvements
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and industry-specific regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public practice or corporate environment
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Professional communication skills for client interactions
- Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms required
