Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile financial statements for diverse clients
- Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll transactions
- Prepare month-end closing reports and variance analyses
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Maintain organized digital financial records using QuickBooks
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client deliverables
- Support audits with organized documentation and data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Tennessee CPA license or actively pursuing (preferred)
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance (bonus)
