Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, general ledgers, and journal entries.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation support where needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and vendor contracts.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting is preferred.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
