Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile client accounts using QuickBooks and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements and budget reports
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Assist with tax preparation and filing for small businesses
- Conduct audits to identify discrepancies and improve financial controls
- Provide bookkeeping support for 15-20 active client accounts
- Communicate financial insights to clients and senior team members
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Florida CPA license or actively pursuing certification
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
