Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger entries
- Assist with budget preparation and expense tracking
- Process payroll and tax filings (quarterly/annual)
- Implement and maintain internal control procedures
- Collaborate with auditors during compliance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of accounting experience (public/private sector)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong GAAP knowledge and tax compliance understanding
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
