Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes for assigned clients.
- Prepare and review financial statements and variance reports.
- Support the payroll process and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (Part-time experience accepted).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be available for a flexible schedule, ideally 20-25 hours per week.
