Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards
- Assist with annual audits and grant reporting documentation
- Maintain organized digital financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with senior accountants on budget analysis and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of accounting experience with nonprofit focus preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit regulations
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
