Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process invoices and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain financial records and ledgers.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to input and track financial data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting software and procedures.
- Previous experience in an office setting is preferred but not required.
