Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial data and analysis.
- Collaborate with the finance team to implement and improve accounting procedures.
- Handle other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a part-time capacity or with flexible hours.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
